Glee Choir

Glee Choir in Concert

Glee is a non-auditioned mixed voice choir open to all students. Glee Choirs (and Clubs) have a long history dating back to the 1700's and include well-known groups such as the Harvard Glee Club and the Yale Glee Club.

Our mission here at OSU is to spread Glee through the campus and the community through music. Glee encourages students of all levels of musical ability (including beginners,) to find their voice and to strive for musical excellence.

Community is at the core of this ensemble. In academic classes, the focus is on learning, but Glee is about building relationships. Out of this  community comes quality music, not the other way around. Glee Choir members range from music majors, to engineering students, to communications majors. All are welcome.

The choir sings a broad spectrum of genres and styles within a mixed choral setting.

Performances include Flash Mobs around OSU campus and Corvallis, singing at Mom's Weekend events and and several concerts throughout the year, including the annual Glee Sing Off in the Fall.

Current Glee participants encourage you to come with an open heart and a willingness to do something outside of your comfort level. Getting to know other students is the foundation of a fun, powerful and music filled experience for all of us. Just Sing!

*Minimal Class fee.
